The Leeds Children's Speech and Language Therapy service supports children and young people aged 0-19 years old who have speech, language and communication difficulties. To access the service clients must have either a Leeds postcode, Leeds GP or pay their Council Tax to Leeds City Council.

Children’s centres are service hubs where children under five years old and their families can receive seamless integrated services and information. By 2010, every community was served by a Sure Start Children’s Centre, offering permanent universal provision across the country, ensuring that every child gets the best start in life.
